2025 Hanoverian Foal (In-Utero)
Velantis (Vitalis/Flouriscount) x Rubiya (Rascalino/Diamont)
Sire: Velantis N, a 2018, 17.2 hh Hanoverian stallion by Vitalis, is an exciting choice for North American breeders. When paying attention to the European breeding scene, you can’t help but notice that Velantis’ pedigree combination is highly sought after. Those horses carrying his lines show quality, ridability and are sold at record prices. In 2022 again Vitalis and Floriscount produced numerous top licensing candidates and sales for several European breed societies. Besides the high scores and rapid ascend to top performance, the ridability and ease in which they adapt to their environment is unequaled making these young horses fantastic for anyone to ride and own. That is what Christiane Noelting, breeder and owner of Velantis had in mind when combining these genetics which started with the importation of Velantis’ impressive Dam “Fleur D’Amour”
Velantis himself is true to his proven pedigree. Christian Hartung, his rider, says: "Working with Velantis has been an amazing experience from day one. He is very intelligent, focused, and a quick learner no matter what I ask of him. I was very impressed with how brave he is – showing in the large indoor in Rancho Murietta the first time at barely 4 years old, he did not even flinch. At the end of the season, we walked into the Equidome to receive our Championship awards at the LA Equestrian Center, I didn't have to worry about him being distracted by the surroundings or other horses."
During his 2022 show season debut as a 4 year old, Velantis received scores in the 70% - 80% range winning both the CDS and USDF Open Training Level Championship at the California Annual Show in Burbank with scores near 80%. A successful first season in the showring was followed by stallion licensing and a successful stallion performance test scoring 8,7.5,8,8,8 -7.9 overall, ranking him as youngest and top 5 out of 17 stallions presented in North America.
Velantis N’s sire VITALIS. This exceptional sire is sought-after worldwide. Very modern and big moving, Vitalis is in the fast lane for breeding as well as in sport. He has impressed the breeding world with his huge, elastic trot and relaxed, rhythmic canter. He is very rideable, and you never see his rider Isabel Freese without a smile on her face! Vitalis was the licensing Reserve Champion. Top dressage scores at his performance test, wins at the Dutch stallion championship and the World Young Horse Championships preluded the sale to American rider Charlotte Jorst. With Charlotte he placed in the nationals and Young Horse World Championship as a 6 yr old with record marks of 10 trot and 9.8 canter. Vitalis was clearly ahead of other competitors, following and even surpassing his sire Vivaldi’s hoof steps. Vivaldi was reserve champion of his performance test, winner of the KWPN finals with a 10 trot, shown internationally successfully with Hans Peter Minderhoud and produced over 20 licensed sons and many internationally successful dressage offspring. With over 30 licensed sons, BuCha champions and qualifiers, National Champions and shattering sales records Vitalis’s story keeps growing.
Dam sire FLORISCOUNT. Velantis N’s Dam “Fleur D’Amour”, from the Hanoverian Waterkant stamm, is an impressive moving mare with superb ridability, purchased in the Verden auction as a 3 yr old for an amateur rider prior to her breeding career. Her sire Floriscount surpassed even the highest expectations. At the 2014 Nuernberger Burg-Pokal he was second in the qualifying round and silver medalist in the Pokal final wasn't enough. Under Oliver Oelrich, he went on to a standing ovation from the audience in the Musical Kur earning an outstanding 9.0! That same year he was awarded “Oldenburg dressage stallion of the year” normally given to 9 to 10 year old stallions based on their own performance as well as that of their offspring. Since the FN had rated him with an incredible Breeding Value Index of 170 with a 91% assurity and his offspring were winning in the shows and selling for top prices at the auctions, it wasn't a surprise when the Oldenburg Breeding Committee bestowed him with this award.
Floriscount dominated the Hanoverian licensings in Verden for many years having had the largest amount of offspring selected as well as several Premium stallions. Floriscount offspring enjoyed many international successes. Many Floriscount mares have been selected for the Hanoverian elite mare show in Verden, the prestigious Herward von der Decken Show. The mare, St.Pr.A. Fleur (Floriscount x Wild Dance), was the 2014 reserve champion and later went on to qualify and place in the 3 yr olds Bundeschampionate. One of many, but we like the Wild Dance connection in that success story. Velantis N’s pedigree is filled with some of the best refining blood consolidated in the back of his pedigree due to the Holsteiner sire Tin Rocco by Tin Rod xx and the legendary Vollkorn xx, Mexico xx and Lucky Boy xx.
Velantis is a culmination of modern high-performance genetics and we have high expectations for his offspring. Exceptional quality fresh and frozen semen is now available daily for your mares.

Velantis' Career Highlights
Dam: Rubiya is by Elite Hanoverian stallion Rascalino (Rotspon, Velton Third) and out of Dunin Bradstreet by Diamont. She is everything we look for in a broodmare, from her wonderful temperament, coupled with a lovely, uphill conformation, and excellent movement. Rubiya was shown in dressage through second level with average scores in the mid 60's before sustaining a pasture injury, which, unfortunately ended her show career.
In 2015, Rubiya was inspected with the American Hanoverian Society, where she was site champion, receiving incredible scores of 8’s for walk and trot.
Rubiya is proving to be the perfect mare to breed to more modern dressage stallions, while ensuring that top quality, movement and wonderful rideability will not be compromised. She is producing outstanding foals with top temperaments and trainability coupled with excellent conformation.
Rubiya’s sire, Rascalino completed the dressage portion of his Adelheidsdorf performance test with the knockout score of 153.37. This score was good enough to make him the winner of the test, with the score of 103.56 on the jumping portion. In fact, this respectable jumping score is probably a product of the of the Wedekind/Ferdinand and Wendekreis/Ferdinand in damsire, Velten Third's background. A further performance component is added through paternal grandsire Rubinstein I, a line known for dressage excellence, but also with some talent at the jump. World Cup III as the sire of the second dam insures dressage excellence. Rascalino is a beautiful, elegant animal with the best gaits and exceptional freedom of the shoulders, sure to make his mark in modern dressage breeding, in the hoofprints of his famous sire and grandsire.
Rascalino’s sire, Rotspon, needs no introduction. After years of producing quality offspring, in 2017 Rotspon was awarded 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year' by the Hanoverian Verband in Verden, Germany.
Rotspon is a top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I. He was the sovereign winner of the Hanoverian stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with a great rideability, outstanding movements and a high ability for dressage. He also has a good jumping technique which is above average. He is an elegantly made sire in a noble black coat with a lot of expression and appearance.
Rotspon's son, Rosevelt, competed for Team USA at the 2016 Rio Olympics. With his rider Allison Brock, Team USA won Bronze. Rosevelt also won the 2015 Grand Prix in Wellington, FL and did it again one month later at the Grand Prix CD13*.
The first crop of offspring by Rotspon were born in the year 2000. The foals have beautiful heads and a good conformation (long sloping shoulder, long well set up neck). They are equipped with a very elastic trot and a ground covering walk, and have been very much in demand. In the 2015, according to the Hanoverian Stallion Book, Rotspon is credited with 888 competition progeny with winnings of €680,105 – 767 dressage placegetters with 80 progeny competing at S level.
Rubiya’s damsire, Diamont was a noted dressage sire and was ranked first in 1994, 1996 and 1997 by the USDF among all Hanoverian stallions for producing USDF Horse of the Year qualifiers. In 1995 he was the 7th leading producer of qualifiers among stallions of all breeds in the U.S. He produced three licensed stallions and fourteen Elite Hanoverian mares. Diamont has three offspring currently competing successfully in European dressage circles. His offspring are well noted for being successful in all the sport horse disciplines including dressage, Grand Prix show jumping and eventing. His son Dior is well know competing at Grand Prix level. The well known Grand Prix dressage stallion, Domingo, is a 3/4 brother to Diamont. Domingo is also a top producer of Elite Mares. He is also the sire of an approved Hanoverian stallion, numerous breed show winners and both hunter and dressage champions.
This foal is available in utero for $16,000 USD. Please reach out for more information!
