No Ringfor Natasha, known on our farm as "Lucia", was our beautiful 16.2H chestnut thoroughbred mare by Street Hero out of a Swain daughter. Lucia came from a long line of very successful racehorses, most of whom have track earnings in the millions. Through her grandsire Street Cry, (found on her sire side) Lucia shares bloodlines with the famous race horses Zenyatta, Winx, and Street Sense. On her damside there are many European turf runners. The most notable of these is her famous damsire, Swain, who was one of only three horses to win two editions of Britain’s premier weight-for-age race, the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
Sadly, we lost Lucia on April 26, 2021 due to foaling complications. She was a truly special mare, and we miss her terribly, however we are eternally grateful for the legacy she left us in her beautiful filly, RayneBeau by Beau Balou.
